At CHOKSTOCK, we take your privacy seriously. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our services.
We collect information you provide directly, such as when you create an account or contact support. This includes your name and email address.
When you add a strategy to your CHOKSTOCK dashboard, you provide us with a Tradetron Strategy ID (SID). These SIDs are publicly shared by the strategy creators (or by other users) and are used solely to fetch publicly available performance data from Tradetron's servers. We do not store, request, or have access to any Tradetron account credentials.
The trading data we fetch and display includes, but is not limited to: strategy name, current capital, PnL, ROI, and historical monthly performance metrics. This data is cached in our database (Supabase) to improve performance and is also stored locally in your browser's storage for a faster dashboard experience.
We do not collect or store any sensitive personal financial information such as bank account details or credit card numbers.
We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve our services, to communicate with you (e.g., password reset emails), and to ensure the security of our platform.
The trading data associated with SIDs is used exclusively to generate the analytics, reports, and insights displayed within your CHOKSTOCK dashboard. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or trading data with third parties for marketing purposes.
We implement industry‑standard security measures to protect your data. All information transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS. Data stored on our servers (such as your email and cached trading analytics) is encrypted at rest.
Any settings or preferences you configure in the dashboard are stored locally on your device using your browser's local storage and are not transmitted to our servers unless necessary for the service to function.
We retain your account information and the list of SIDs you follow for as long as your account is active. You may remove strategies from your dashboard at any time, which will stop further data fetching and delete the associated cached data from our servers. You may also delete your entire account by contacting us, after which your personal data will be removed within 30 days.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
